The most significant selling point for Eufy with this device is its laser navigation. The previous Eufy devices have created a rough map of your home utilizing infrared sensors and bumping into things but the X8's laser mapping system is far more precise. It also takes a lot less time to create an accurate map of your living space and also stores multiple maps, which is great for multi-floor homes.

The X8 is still a good vacuum robot on bare floors that can carry debris under its side brushes and into the 400ml dust bin with ease. The X8's tyres, despite having a circular shape, are very adept in grabbing corners and edges. Our tests revealed that it could only remove 90% of the fur on hard floors.

There's a basic mopping mode that utilizes the same water tank as the vacuuming one. This is great for spills that aren't too serious, but you cannot regulate the amount of water it consumes.
