iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review

This vacuum isn't afraid to tackle the stairs, unlike some other models. However, just like any mop and vacuum it is prone to getting blocked by debris such as loose tennis shoes, ribbons, yarn, play jewelry or other objects that are loose.

The iRobot Home App allows you to label rooms, and even create zones that are not allowed to enter. It also lets you keep track of the progress of your mops as well as battery status.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo j7+ is a robot vacuum and mop that combines the smart mapping capabilities of iRobot with its ability to handle spills. It is equipped with iRobot PrevisionVision obstacle-avoidance technology that is more advanced than other systems of this type.

When it's time to mop, simply swap in the Mopping Bin and a compatible cleaning solution.

The i5+ uses iRobot OS which means that it gets smarter as you use it. It creates a Smart Map, which remembers the names of rooms as well as your cleaning preferences. It can then be directed to clean a room or set a timer for a whole level of your home through the iRobot app.

Its patented Mopping Drive System applies pressure to the floor for a deeper clean and removes tough staining. It can also reach under furniture and in tight spaces to provide a thorough clean. The Combo J5+ can be used in conjunction with the iRobot Clean Base to automatically eliminate dirt.

It can create a map for the entire house, meaning that it can clean anywhere you'd like in a single run. It can also avoid objects such as cords, backpacks or pet toys. iRobot Combo i3

The iRobot Combo i3 is an updated version of the original Roomba i3. It has a HEPA filter to trap allergens and the same fantastic dust compartment that is outside, but it now supports smart mapping. It is now possible to create no-go zones to stop the vacuum from vaccuming the same areas repeatedly. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it comes with a self-emptying system that empties the dirtbag, fills its water reservoir and cleans its mop pads.

With the i3 app, you can create schedules to clean at a specific time to suit your needs. You can also control your robot using your voice assistant to begin or stop cleaning.
