Space Key, developed in collaboration with an unidentified artist, and based on cutting-edge carbon fiber composite materials, which were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a project that has been revealed by Lamborghini.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that takes place at different times as the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Over 600 million pixels up each of the five images, that were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used an inflatable camera equipped with a lens to capture the individual images, which were then put together into the final image. The result is an image that is out of this world. It captures both the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic view of a car rising from the Earth. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, however the exact date and location of the event haven't been set yet.

The auction
