After a number of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. It's called Space Key and developed in collaboration with an undisclosed artist the project is inspired by a piece advanced carbon fiber composite material that was sent to the International Space Station for research purposes.

Oefner used a balloon equipped with a camera that captured each of the individual shots, which were later merged into the final image. The result is an out-of-this world image that captures the beauty of the Earth as well as the futuristic, hyper-realistic view of the car rising away from it. The Space Keys will be auctioned off soon, but the exact date and time of the event haven't been announced yet.

The auction
