One thing that sets the T10 apart from other robot vacuums is its smart mapping technology, which produces a detailed 3D map of your home's layout. This allows the robot to detect obstacles more precisely and alter its direction, increasing the overall efficiency of cleaning.

The ECOVACS App is simple to use and comes with various settings that can be customized. The only downside is that it does not come with the remote control, which some may be frustrated with.

The T10 OMNI is excellent at cleaning pet hair. It was able remove most of the hair from my carpets after two cleaning cycles. It was even able to navigate around furniture that was blocking its path.

The mop has the same power as its vacuums and it has a more appealing design than Roomba. The T10's smart features compensate for the absence of the remote. It is easy to start or stop a cleaning cycle or schedule it and modify the settings of the device with the app.

I tried the ION XL in a family and kitchen room with hardwood flooring, area rugs and a standard test for debris. It was excellent at cleaning up and removing pet hair, debris, and even some of the more difficult to remove carpet crumbs. It was also adept at maneuvering and didn't bump into my bar stools like the iRobot j7+ in this test. The only issue is that the ION XL can't detect toys, cords and shoes in its path, so you will have to pre-clean your house before using this vacuum if you want it to avoid these items.

The ION XL robot cleaner isn't as smart as the iRobot j7+ but it's a good alternative if you don't want to spend over $500 on a robot. It's better than the RoboVac 11S, in many ways. It's more easy to maintain and has lower monthly costs. It's also superior at vacuuming bare flooring and picking up pet fur, but it isn't as effective on low- or carpets with higher pile.

It's not as well-built, but it's still an excellent option. The ION XL is a powerful machine with a large capacity bin. It is controlled by an app or voice command, and is simple to maintain. It also has affordable.
