The Samsung Jet Bot+ is a sleek, storm-trooper-inspired robot vacuum with a host of features to help keep your home clean. Powered by the Samsung SmartThings app, this robot can be controlled remotely and is compatible with voice integrations like Alexa and Google Assistant. The app is easy to use and has many settings, including cleaning modes that can be customized and scheduling.

The robot begins by tracing out the area it'll clean, making a digital floorplan that you can view in the app. Once the mapping is complete the robot begins to clean the areas it marked out, bouncing into furniture and corners effortlessly (although it can still get stuck on some objects like the base of a standing fan).

As it absorbs dirt, it drops it into its own dust bin that it automatically empty into the Samsung Clean Station when full. This feature is a real time-saver and means that you don't have to think about emptying the bin on your own. The Clean Station also serves as an outlet for charging the bot, which is a nice touch.

This Samsung bot comes with a range of settings that allow you to alter the way it works. For instance, it has a "Smart Power Mode" that adjusts suction based on the flooring type. It can also move in a zigzag pattern or around objects. It is able to avoid certain objects it believes can cause secondary contamination, or be dangerous. This is a great feature for those with allergies.

It was able to handle long hair nicely, with very few knots and no loss of suction. However, the brushes did tend to clog, especially near the nozzles, so make sure to check them often. The app also alerted when the brushroll was tangled.

The Samsung Jet Bot+ will be a great addition to any family that is seeking a more efficient method to keep their home clean. It's a bit more expensive than other robot vacuums, but it comes with a variety of premium features that are well worth the extra cost.

Neato Botvac D7

The Neato Botvac D7 is one of the strongest robot vacuums available. It delivers excellent performance on bare floors, carpets with a high pile, as well as pet hair. Its flexibility and ease of use are top of the line, however it's not equipped to mop, making it less suited for hard surfaces than some of its competitors. It also has a high cost and frequent costs.

This process takes approximately an hour for our house, though it may be quicker when you choose to use Eco mode which is slower.

The D7's indicator for battery will light up yellow when it is close to being completely depleted. It will be green when it is fully charged. The D7 has a larger battery compared to the D8. It can run for up to two hours in its maximum "Turbo mode".

While the D7 is a great tool of cleaning floors with no dirt however, it can get stuck on furniture feet and legs and Bagless Self Emptying Robot Vacuum can't easily navigate up or down steps. It will send you a notification in the event that it becomes stuck.

Dyson Ball Multi Floor Cleaner

The Multi-Floor cleaner is an upright vacuum that uses Radial Root Cyclone Technology to maximize suction. The brush bar has been reconfigured to make the bristles shorter and stiffer, allowing it to penetrate carpet fibers further and remove more dirt without causing harm to them. The updated floorhead automatically adjusts to carpets or hard floors and seals in suction. The wand and hose are released in a smooth motion, making it much easier to reach up or under furniture. It also has a complete-machine HEPA filtering to ensure that allergens and bacteria stay within the machine instead of being expelled back into your home.

The Multi Floor is a great choice for those suffering from asthma or allergies. Its suction power lets it pick up dirt and other debris from your flooring. This includes a variety of tiny particles that are normally dispersed in the air. It is ideal for low-pile and high pile carpet. It has an extended cord that makes it easy to move around your home.

It's heavier than other vacuums that we tested, but still easily transportable and easy to move from room to room. It also comes with an empty bag that can be filled by simply pressing an on. The bin can hold 0.6 cubic feet and is transparent so you can see when it's filled.

It did not perform as well as the Hoover WindTunnel 2 whole house rewinding on floors that are not bare however, it was able to pick up litter and rice from carpeted floors. It also removes more sand from carpets of medium pile than the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe. It's also easier to maintain, and has almost no recurring costs, unlike the BISSELL bagless self emptying robot vacuum (agree with this) Canister.

Hoover WindTunnel Cleaner

Hoover WindTunnel Cleaner has a strong suction as well as a upright with no bag at a fair cost. It is a good vacuum to clean dust, pet hair and other debris from carpets and hard floors. It's not the best self emptying robot vacuum for pet hair vacuum in its class and it tends to lose performance when the dirt compartment gets full. This can be a major issue especially if you have a lot of furniture and lots of pet hair.

The design is easy to maneuver and relatively robust, however some owners found it a bit heavy for this type vacuum. The cord isn't very long, but it auto-retracts. One of the features that customers appreciate is that it can handle the transition between hard and carpeted floors without having to switch off the vacuum.

The main selling point of this model is the QuickPass brush roll that allows you to clean up surface debris in only one stroke. The patented WindTunnel 3 Technology also creates suction channels that lift and eliminate surface dirt as well as dirt that is deeply embedded. The HEPA filter and carbon layer absorb odors.

Hoover WindTunnel's filter is rinsable, and should only be cleaned if it displays signs of contamination. This will help you reduce the need for replacement filter and keep your house clean for longer.
