The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and mini walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. You can also design and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

It can build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The center of the control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences.
