They are compatible with aptX codecs, aptX HD codecs as well as adaptive codecs for high-quality audio over Bluetooth.

The WH-1000XM5 has the same headband and ear cups to the XM4 but is lighter and more comfortable. They are comfortable to wear and can be worn for extended periods of time. The PX7 S2s is a fantastic wireless headset that rivals other headsets in its class. It's difficult to imagine a rival that can beat them.

3. Focal Bathys Wireless

For audiophiles who appreciate high-quality sound and are looking for a premium wireless noise-canceling headset, the Focal Bathys are tough to beat. They're the French audio company's very first ANC headphones to use Bluetooth and provide incredible audio quality in both Bluetooth mode and when connected to an device via USB to enjoy hi-fi quality sound at up to 24-bit/192kHz (the headphone is also capable of blocking external sound with its closed ear cups).

The Bathys are gorgeous with their black glossy finish and swooping curves reminiscent of Focal's premium open-back Elear and closed-back Celestee headphones. The Bathys are constructed of top-quality materials like magnesium and aluminum that make them feel durable, comfortable, and well worth the price.

The Bathys Bluetooth headphones provide an impressive, clear sound signature. They are able to outperform consumer ANC models of the same price like the Sony XM5/5 and Bose QC45. They can be improved further by using direct DAC audio mode, making them an excellent choice for those who love hi-fi.

The Focal and Naim app allows users to alter the headphone's playback controls as well as Bluetooth pairing preferences. They can choose between soft or silent intensities for ANC, adjust the brightness of the LEDs on the ear cups, and tweak EQ settings. The app is basic but it has enough features to be worth the cost.

The only issue is the active noise cancellation, which doesn't live up to the quality of the competition. They follow a similar design to Sony's more recent 1000X and XB910N headphones. They sport a slim, plastic headband that has the typical ear cups hinges. They're light and comfortable, however they feel a bit too tight for my taste. In the box, they include an USB-C port to charge as well as the 3.5mm jack, and a decent-length cable. You can also utilize the app to activate DSEE which can boost the quality of compressed content and improves its sound quality.

The WH-CH720N isn't equipped with some of Sony's primetime features compared to the XM5 (such as Speak-to -Chat and Quick Attention) they do have a solid feature set for PS130. 360 Reality Audio, smart controls, and DSEE upscaling are all present. The only thing missing is LDAC Bluetooth high-res audio support I believe it would have been a welcome inclusion.
