The IQ app offers some advanced mapping and automated functions, however it does not have no-go zones. These are available only on Irobot vacuum mop combo robots. The smart-pathing system of the app allows for greater maneuverability and the high-pile mode of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective however it can be caught in the tassels of the rug.

In our tests, the IQ was able to handle pet hair well, clearing huge amounts of debris from floors that were not bare and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was a little less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to reach dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It was able to maneuver the legs of a chair, tiny spaces, and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a little slower on bare floors, but it regained speed and performed better than the other robots we tried.

The IQ is a more suitable option for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dust bin, lasts longer on a charge, and is capable of moving itself around obstacles. It also comes with mopping attachments that are able to tackle sticky debris. On the other side the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and creates virtual no-go zones with its companion app. It is able to even resume cleaning from where it left off if it runs out of battery before having completed the task. The iRobot is also controlled by voice, which can be a big plus for many users.

The eufy RoboVac 11S robot vacuum isn't among the most features-rich models, but it offers powerful cleaning power at affordable prices. The BoostIQ mode is another great feature of the eufy11S. It allows you to set up the robot to automatically adjust suction strength based on the floor type and the amount of the mess. It's also easy to use the remote to direct the 11S where you want it to move.
