The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of the button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior as its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and moves on.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the hidden bin and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can need. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and Robot Vacuum for hardwood floors hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
