Another feature that is great is the ability to choose between two different cleaning intensities. There's an Eco mode that runs the vacuum quietly and extends the run time, and Turbo mode delivers an even more powerful clean. However, the Turbo mode operates at a loud, unfriendly volume which can be frustrating if you're running the D7 while you're working or watching TV.

The D7 is among the few robots capable creating and storing multiple floor plans. This is ideal for multi-level homes. It also comes with a quick boost function that lets it return to its base, recharge and resume cleaning. This is especially useful for cleaning areas that are difficult to clean. Neato's application is simple to use and is regularly updated with new features. For the price, it is one of the best robots for carpets with thick hair available.

2. Eufy RoboVac 11S

It also comes with an auto recharge and resume feature. If the battery is dead before it finishes cleaning it, it will automatically make its return to its base to recharge and then picks up where it began.

It's well-built, maneuvers efficiently and can be used with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands for hands-free operation. It's well-built and comes with many navigational features. It's also easy to maintain. However, it has a lower maximum battery life than other models and is subject to higher cost-per-use.

The Q5 is among the slowest-moving robots that we've tried, but it has an efficient layout algorithm that doesn't need the assistance of a babysitter after its first run through a space. It starts by mapping out an area, and then fills in the interior with a sweep of parallel lines. When it's done it returns to its charging station, or its starting location if it started away from the base.

It did an excellent job cleaning hardwood floors and sucking up at least 88% of dirt for each test. It had a little more trouble on carpets with high and low piles however it did better than the average unit.
