The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-range costco robot vacuum vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of a button. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the homekit Robot vacuum can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it and then moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and Homekit robot Vacuum vacuum with all the features you can wish for. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically is a switch for on and off. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home.
