Residents of the Pineview neighborhood in Springfield gathered together on Saturday morning to clean up their local park in an effort to revitalize the space and promote community pride.

Armed with gloves, trash bags, rakes, and shovels, submit volunteers of all ages worked tirelessly to pick up litter, remove debris, and clear overgrown vegetation from the park grounds. The event was organized by the Pineview Community Association, which aimed to bring neighbors together for a common cause.

"We wanted to show our children the importance of taking care of our community and the environment," said Sarah Johnson, a local resident and one of the organizers of the cleanup.
