It isn't as good on carpets however it's still better than other robots in this price range. The Roomba EVO is also efficient in moving between floor types. It isn't stuck in transitions like the older models. The dual multi-surface brushes flex and adjust to different flooring types. They also have a tendency to not tangle pet hair.

The i3+ EVO has weaker obstacle avoidance than some of the other robots we tested. It frequently encountered objects such as pet toys, handbags, and shoes before continuing its path. It also had trouble with coarse sea salt which it blew around instead of picking up.

The i3+ EVO comes with a variety of amazing features that make it worth the additional cost compared to other Roomba models, such as self-emptying bins and advanced control via the app. It is possible to schedule cleanings, set custom routines, and create no-go zones for areas you don't want the robot to enter.
