The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do, to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of a button. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it encounters the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something needs attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. The robot is still large--it is more than two feet in the height and best Eufy robot vacuum depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni Omni has the best eufy robot vacuum mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots at this price range. It can build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
