The i3+ EVO has a weaker obstacle avoidance capability than the other robots that we tested. It repeatedly hit objects such as pet toys, handbags, and even shoes before continuing its route. It also had trouble with coarse sea salt which it was able to blow around instead of taking it up.

The i3+ EVO comes with a host of features that make it worth the price over other Roomba models. It has the ability to self-empty the bin and more advanced control via an app. It is possible to schedule cleaning and set up custom routines.
