The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the push of one button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire home efficiently possible. The Irobot Roomba Vacuum Mop Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that must be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors in the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can manage it even when not home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot shark vacuum and mop robot and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and irobot Roomba vacuum Mop avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The central control panel has a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and Irobot roomba vacuum Mop removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
