The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2 provides a significant improvement over its predecessor. It comes with a variety of new features and improved performance. The Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2 comes with premium performance and features like 24-bit wireless streaming with active noise cancellation that is optimized, and clear voice calls on any compatible mobile or tablet. The 40mm drivers, which are designed specifically and angled to fit in each earcup, offer more complete and focused listening experience. These headphones have a similar sleek and refined look to the original PX7. They have accent rings around the earcups as well as a silver-colored headband. The memory foam earcups fit well but not too tight on the cranium. The redesigned form and shape took a long time to perfect, delivering an easy clamping force that isn't too hard, even on my own cranium that is rotund.

They are 2 ounces lighter (or 307g) and a bit thinner than the Sony WH1000XM5. They're light enough to carry in your bag or backpack without any discomfort, and they'll stay comfortably in place during long listening sessions. A strong hinge on the back of the headband enables you to fold them for easy transportation in the protective case.

They're powered by Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive support which is great for high-resolution audio as well as tight video sync. You can also play them wired too, using the included 3.5mm cable that connects to an USB-C port located on the right earcup. The status indicator on the earphone is a nice addition. It flashes green to indicate rapid charging and solid blue to indicate Bluetooth pairing.

The B&W app offers the same features as the onboard buttons in the hardware - bass and treble adjustment and assigning action buttons, wear detection, cycle through ANC modes and much more. The app also displays an album cover and track's name when you play music from your iPhone. However, some popular features such as music presets or soundscapes feature aren't available.

Sennheiser HD 800 S

Anker Soundcore Life Q20

The Anker Soundcore Life Q20 are a decent pair of headphones that can be a great choice for anyone looking to pass the time or simply needs a cheap set of noise cancelling headphones. The ANC is a great way to block out noisy seatmates and engine rumbles, however their audio profile is a bit warmer and bass-heavy.
