The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on whenever it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and dry the mop robot vacuum (simply click the following article) pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It is able to even remove wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could need. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead simply following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can alter how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the irobot vacuum and mop combo Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
