The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos that demonstrate how to maintain the various parts of the machine. For instance, replacing the mopping pad, or filtering the water tank.

The only real downside is that you can only mop with the iRobot Combo if your mopping pad is attached and if the 210 ml tank is filled. If one of these is not present, it simply vacuums. You can easily monitor the tank's water level via the iRobot app, and when it's low, you'll get an alert to refill it.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is a budget robot that does a fantastic job of mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance is particularly impressive, especially considering the cost. It works well on carpets and hard floors and can pick smaller to larger pieces of debris (think hair tangles or cat litter). It also does a fantastic job of cleaning up dry spills and messes. It is also excellent to clean stairs and other areas that are easy to get stuck.

The mopping system uses a rotating pad to scrub floors with water, which lifts dirt and grime, even on spots that are stuck. The pad is then thoroughly dried by 45 minutes of warm air following each cleaning to prevent unpleasant odors and mold. You can control the robot via the Roborock app or your voice to begin mopping or change settings, and much more.

Its performance in vacuuming is top-quality, too. It is equipped with an efficient vacuum and best robot Vacuum and Mop self empty a high-efficiency filter which captures all types of debris, from fine to large. The only downside is that it does not perform as well against pet hair on carpet. Ten percent of pet hair remains on our test surface after two cycles at maximum power, though this isn't unusual in the vacuuming world.

The Q Revo is a great product that is able to provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It also has superb mopping and cleaning capabilities. It's not as effective as the more expensive robotic vacuum cleaner and mop however it's an excellent choice for those who is on a budget. Plus, it charges up to 30% faster than the previous models and is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This is a lot more convenience at a low cost. 3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is extremely affordable and has many great features. The installation was simple and took just five minutes. After removing the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic, a quick scan of the QR code within the app gets you started. The app is simple and guides you through the process easily. Once the Cube is configured the Cube is ready to start mapping and cleaning.

The app lets you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app allows you to split rooms into smaller parts so that they can be targeted more specifically. For example, you can make a map for the kitchen and another one for the living area, allowing the robot to sweep the floors in each room at different times.

The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've tested. It is an industrial look. Its base station is more modular than the others and features a dirty water tank and auto-empty feature on one side, and the vacuum on the other. The reusable mop pads are also separate. They fit into the top of robot and are attached to a handle on the front, making it easy to remove and refill.

The vacuum performs as well as any other robot I've tested and comes with two side brushes to the single brush in most models. This expands the vacuum's coverage area and reduces the likelihood of debris being lost around furniture and walls. However, it does have some issues with the detection of objects and a tendency to run at full speed through objects, such as the tassel rug I have in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is an efficient robot mop that does its job well and keeps your floors looking good every day. It can't do the vacuuming tasks of other hybrids listed here and isn't able to transition to rugs or carpet like they can, but it has a long battery life and smart mopping features. It is a great choice for keeping your floors clean in a small to mid-sized house.

It works in dry sweeping mode too it can clean up to 1,000 square feet on a single charge. It can also map your floor plan using the iRobot app and can clean rooms in a sequence using compatible Roomba vacuums.

When it is used in wet mopping mode, the m6 uses a precision spray to dampen the floor in straight efficient lines. It's fascinating to observe and it was able to tackle even the most difficult dried-in coffee and juice stains on my floors. It can be set to use less or more water than the maximum amount set in the app.

The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA Self-Empty base, which we've reviewed here is priced at $699 / PS559 / around AU$1,054. If you don't need the charging base, it will still cost $549 /PS395 / approximately $775 AU.

Shark RV2610WA could be a great option for anyone who is seeking a robot that is flexible and able to be used for both vacuuming as as mopping. It can deep remove stubborn stains with the stain-lifting tool included in the box. The app allows you to schedule the machine to clean at a particular date and time, and is equipped with an innovative feature that allows you to control your robot even when you're not at home.

The Shark vacuum cleaner is good in vacuuming and is able to pick up most debris. However, it is not as effective on carpets. It's not difficult for pet hair to be stuck in the brushroll, and its dirt container can fill up quickly. There are a lot of parts that need regular maintenance and replacement, which can result in recurring costs over time.

There are better options available on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers better performance both on carpets and floors with high pile. It is better built and comes with a bigger dust bin and can get over obstacles like electrical cords with ease. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's well worth the extra expense if you require a cleaner that does both jobs effortlessly.
