The project is dubbed Space Key and created in collaboration with an unknown artist It is based on a piece of advanced carbon fiber composite material that was shipped to the International Space Station for research purposes.

Oefner used a balloon with a camera to take each of the individual images, which were then combined into the final image. The result is a photograph that is out of this world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic picture of a car rising from the Earth. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned off soon, but there's no precise date or location yet.
