iRobot Combo j7+

It uses iRobot PrevisionVision obstacle-avoidance technology that is more advanced than other systems similar to it.

iRobot Combo i5

This multitasker is designed to vacuum and mop with one machine. The vacuuming process is performed with a specially designed bin that holds up to 60 days' worth of debris that iRobot claims reduces the amount of dust released into the air during the process. The i5+ comes with a dual multi-surface rubber brushes and Power-Lifting suction to tackle dust and dirt as well as pet hair and staining. When it's time to mop, simply switch in the Mopping Bin and a compatible cleaning solution.

The i5+ uses iRobot OS, which means it gets smarter as you use it. It creates a Smart Map, which remembers the names of rooms as well as your cleaning preferences. The iRobot App allows you to create a schedule, or tell the robot to clean a particular room.

iRobot Combo i3

The iRobot Combo i3 is an upgraded version of the original Roomba i3. It has a HEPA filter to trap allergens and the same excellent external dust compartment, but it now supports smart mapping. It is now possible to create zones that are not accessible to prevent the vacuum from vaccuming these areas repeatedly. The i3 Plus has a lot of other fantastic features, like its advanced cleaning system and 10x power-lifting vacuum. It also comes with a three-stage cleaning process. It comes with a slim docking station that doesn't occupy any space. It also includes a dirt storage compartment that can be emptied by pressing the button. However it's impossible to view the inside of the compartment since it's made of transparent plastic. The i4 also lacks certain features, such as keep-out zones and the AI-powered obstacle avoidance found on the j7 and+ models.

However, it does have an effective cleaning system and a set of rubber brushes that aren't tangled up with pet hair. It's also a good choice for homes with carpets that are high-pile because it is able to handle the extra dirt and debris better than less powerful vacuums. The I4 is also less demanding in terms of maintenance requirements, incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and also has a longer time of operation in its most powerful suction mode than the i7.
