The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place, you can start automated cleaning with a single button press. You can choose a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is superior - its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right for example, a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The cheap robot vacuum vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It is able to even remove wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, Robot Vacuum Deals granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have but they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum.
