The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can also Vacuum That vacuums and mops up wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that can better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads rotating to clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, automated vacuum Cleaner and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are great, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it a little more expensive than some homeowners need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
