The key fob that came with your Nissan is an essential component of the car's advanced keyless entry system. Close the battery compartment and then return the hidden key to its original position inside the case.

Remote Start

Nissan remote start is a feature that permits drivers to warm up or cool their vehicle from outside the vehicle, if they are within operating range. The ignition in the car is activated when the driver presses a button on the key fob or smartphone application. The remote start system can also activate climate control so that the driver can set their preferred temperature. Each device is singularly identified and labeled, with the date and time of the application and the name of the authorized individual and the reason for the tag-out or lockout (repair or maintenance, for example). It should be stated clearly that these devices cannot be removed until an entire LOTO procedure has been carried out.
