The Best robot vacuum for carpet Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of one button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with future models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it and mop then moves forward.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be cleared out frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can also remove wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could wish for. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum deals known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are nice to have but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The central control panel includes the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
