To do this, take the key hidden in your key fob. Then, access the battery compartment. Remove the old battery and then put a new one in its place. Make sure that the positive face of your new battery faces in the same direction it did with the old one. Finally, close the battery compartment and return the key to its hidden place within the case.

Remote Start

Nissan Key Programming remote start permits drivers to heat or cool their vehicles from outside provided they're within the operating range. The ignition of the car can be activated by pressing an appropriate button on key fobs or a smartphone application. Lockout Protection

Lockout protection eliminates nuisance lockouts caused by impedance relay failure. A special module within the power control monitors impedance relay activity, and then disables the output. This feature is only available for vehicles that have the Smart Key system or through the personalization menu for the vehicle.

Lock-out tag-out (LOTO) systems can prevent these accidents by making sure that the machines remain off until a person authorized releases them.

The LOTO system is comprised of a number of locks, tags and other devices used to isolate, secure, or block a device from an electric source. All "affected" and "authorized" personnel must be educated on the use of these devices. These devices include, but are not only restricted to locks, chains and padlocks. Each device is uniquely identified and labeled, including the date and time it was used, the name and title of the person who is authorized, and the purpose of the lockout/tagout (repairs, maintenance and so on.). It must be clear that these devices are not able to be removed until a thorough LOTO procedure is followed.
