It also had trouble collecting table salt on bare flooring, as many grains were slid across the floor.

It does support app control via the iRobot HOME app and voice command via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant (via an external device, purchased separately). It analyzes your habits of cleaning and creates customized schedules. Cliff Detect and an edge-sweeping brush will ensure it is able to reach hard-to-reach corners, while Dirt Detect sensors alert it to heavily soiled areas. It comes with a dust bin that automatically empties and it has a battery life of around 60 minutes. The pricier iRobot J7 comes with an advanced set of features and performs better on all surfaces. It also feels better built, has a larger dustbin, charges faster, and can navigate obstacles such as electrical cords more easily.
