It also comes with self-cleaning extractors that break up hairs to avoid tangles.

The Jet Bot picked up a lot of debris on my carpets and hardwood floors when I tried it. It missed a few tiny items in my dining room's corner and required me to go over them again however it did a fantastic job overall. Compared to the Roomba, it edged the other one in my tests since its side brush reached better along edges and was more powerful in terms of removing smaller debris.

The Samsung Jet Bot is controlled through the SmartThings app and can be set to automatically clean at times that are most convenient for you. It is also possible to schedule to clean certain rooms or areas, as well as adding virtual no-go zones (and physical ones if you prefer).

This model is similar to previous models in that it has an oval frame with a transparent window with a camera. It's that camera that gives this model some real intelligence. It uses the camera for VSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localization Mapping) by scanning for distinct features and storing these features. It then compares this information with relative positioning gyro, IMU and wheel odometry information to create an outline of the space it's in.

It's a clever system, and it actually does a great job - even on carpets, which is where the Roomba generally has a tougher time than it does on hard surfaces. The 980 also comes with clever features, like the ability to create an annual cleaning routine and play a sound to help you find your robot. The 960 performed well during our tests, especially on floors with no floor. It was able to absorb a lot of food crumbs, cat litter and tracked-in dirt. It also has the ability to climb obstacles like stair runners, table legs and chairs legs. It also was able to suck up pet fur however, it had a difficult time with finer debris, such as baking soda.

The 960 is distinct from other Roomba models in that it has a separate dust bin to hold large pieces of debris. This eliminates the need to maintain it. You can empty it with the press of a button, using the iRobot HOME app, or using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.

The battery time of the 960 isn't particularly impressive but it's sufficient to let you use it all day long without worrying about charging it before the time of bed. The Roomba 970 of iRobot.

The Roomba 970 is a robot vacuum cleaner that works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. It uses the same advanced navigation system as other recent iRobot vacuums and can recognize stairs. It utilizes a centrally-located camera to scan the floor as it moves and can identify furniture, walls and other obstacles. It can also set limits for the robot by using the virtual wall tool.

This model differs from earlier models in that it uses lithium-ion batteries instead metal hydride. This means it can last longer between charges, and has more stamina for cleaning. It's not quite as fast as the Shark AI Robot, but it's still pretty quick and can navigate around the room without difficulty.

Like the other models of the 960 series, the 970 can be controlled using the iRobot app and connects to your Wi-Fi network with no setup required. It has a small handle on its front that you can press to manually return it to its charger and a spot-cleaning button lets you concentrate on a specific area in your home. The 960 series models feature the same three-stage cleaning process as other current iRobot models, which incorporates power-lifting suction with agitation to thoroughly clean your floor and eliminate dirt.

The 960 is great on bare floors. Its brushrolls and powerful vacuum can remove a lot of dust, hair and other particles.
