The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup, you can start automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want to get one of the Best mapping robot vacuum robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create little noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on when it encounters one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view and washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be removed regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum mops mop and vacuum is a premium model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
