1. OriginalLine

OriginalLine is Nespresso's classic line of machines that use their hermetically sealed pods. They create espresso and coffee and maker are the cheapest nespresso machine options. They also offer a greater selection of capsules and drinks than VertuoLine. VertuoLine machines are more for those who prefer larger drinks.

The VertuoLine utilizes modern techniques and specifications to provide superior performance over the OriginalLine. They have a wider selection of brew sizes including 0.85 ounces of ristretto and 1.35 ounces for double espresso. They also offer a faster process called centrifusion which rotates the pod at 7,000 RPM, which allows more water to flow through for better extraction.

Alongside improving the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of capsules that are reusable and has introduced an environmentally sustainable packaging system. They use an aluminium alloy that is 80% recycled for their capsules of coffee, and intend to increase that percentage in future products.

The Lattissima Pro coffee machine is one of the most efficient nespresso machine available. It has a touchscreen display that lets you customize the settings. It also has a rapid heating time. It also has a powerful steaming wand for creating a café-like foam and maker milk texture. This machine isn't as compact as some other nespresso models, but it is small in size and a capsule that can be removed that makes it easy to clean.

2. Vertuoline

The Vertuoline series is a recent addition to the Nespresso lineup. It is the only machine to make espresso and coffee. It comes with a built-in frother for milk. This is a great option for those who love a variety black drinks, but do not need to make them separately.

Vertuoline machines come with a distinct pod system from the OriginalLine. The pods are marked with barcodes that the machines are able to scan to determine the size of the beverage (ristretto or cappuccino), and add the right amount of water. This eliminates the need for separate containers of milk and makes it easier to create the perfect espresso or barista express coffee machine.

In terms of quality In terms of quality, the Vertuoline machines create a crema that's more like the dense foam you get at a traditional coffee shop than the lighter Crema found in the OriginalLine machines. However, the OriginalLine machines still offer the best flavor because they generate 19 bars of pressure to better extract flavor from the grounds of espresso.

The latest VertuoLine machines also employ the process known as Centrifusion to spin the capsules faster and more evenly than the Original Line machines. This increases the speed of water infusion and enhances the quality of the drink. It also allows Vertuoline machines use lower temperatures, which reduces extraction time and boosts the strength of the espresso.

3. Original

This entry-level Original machine is a good alternative for those who don't have lots of space or funds to buy a larger machine. It has smaller water tank and capsule container however, it still has 19 bars of pressure which is more than enough to make the kind of coffees and espressos that people purchase Nespresso machines for.

The machine has a minimalist black design, and the top-facing buttons control all functions from turning it on to rinsing or making a cup. This is a common approach for Nespresso machines. They are easy to operate and also to learn.

This model also comes with a jug that can be used to create drinks using foam. It also has 11 different milk temperature settings that allow you to alter the texture of your latte or coffee and it is able to make both long and short cappuccinos and lattes.

The Creatista's fast heat-up time is a great feature. It is able to reach temperature in 3 seconds, which is quicker than other Nespresso machines. The design of the machine is elegant and stylish, with a brushed stainless steel body that is stunning on any countertop. The high-resolution screen makes it simple to use the machine for setting up, cooking food and maintaining it. It's available in four different colors including sea salt, black truffle, damson blue, and the stainless steel version. The Creatista measures 6.7 x 15 12 inches (WxDxH). It's the smallest Nespresso machine in the OriginalLine, so it will fit perfectly on any counter.

5. CitiZ

This elegant espresso maker from Nespresso occupies less counter space than comparable models. It comes with a foldable tray that can accommodate larger mugs and glasses for making recipes. This is a great feature for kitchens with smaller spaces, and makes it much easier to use the machine with taller recipes. It's also easy to re-create café favorites due to the extraction system of 19 bars and quick heating time.

The CitiZ Basic doesn't include a milk frother. You can buy one on its own or as part of the CitiZ&Milk Bundle. This bundle comes with the Aeroccino steamer so you can make creamy cappuccinos and lattes. You can also use capsules that are reusable with this model, though they're not included.

It has a large water tank of 1 liter, and a container for used capsules that can accommodate nine to eleven capsules. It doesn't automatically empty capsules that have been used after brewing, but you can raise and lower the holder.

It's an easy-to-use machine, and the streamlined design is easy to wipe clean. The model also has the option of descaling, but there's no designated indicator or button and the process isn't intuitive. Nespresso recommends using its own descaling solution and running it through every 300 to 1,200 cups depending on the hardness of your water. The drip tray and water tank can be removed for easy cleaning.

6. Gran Lattissima

Gran Lattissima is a premium single-serve espresso and milk machine. It has a premium modern design that features glossy and matte finishes as well as stainless steel accents and an LCD touch screen. It is able to make various milk and coffee recipes at the push of a button. These include Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Cafe Latte, Flat White, Foamed milk and Hot Milk. It is compatible with OriginalLine and 3rd-party Nespresso pods (does not work with VertuoLine or Starbucks by Nespresso capsules).

This model is different from the previous Lattissima Touch because it has nine drink presets and only two are non-milk based drinks. It does not offer the option of choosing your preferred milk texture for a particular recipe however, it is possible to do so on the Lattissima Pro.

This model also comes with a washable and reusable milk container, so you don't have to fret about buying fresh milk or purchasing a separate appliance just for the machine. This container is simple to clean and can be emptied into the sink in a matter of seconds.

Gran Lattissima's energy-saving feature and quick heating up are two more amazing features. It can be heated up in only 25 seconds and has a large reservoir of 44 oz.
