Narwal Robot Vacuum and Mop

Narwal is an relative newcomer to the robot vacuum market. It's a sweeping/mopping hybrid that's quite impressive. But it's also expensive and hampered by a cumbersome app with a steep curve.

To mop, you place a sheet of detergent into the base station's water tank that is clean. Then, it uses clean water to wand the pads and scrub floors with 10N pressure.

Features

The Narwal T10 robot vacuum can clean, scrub and sweep hard floors. Its innovative navigation and mapping system is based upon simultaneous localization (SLAM) technologies. It also has anti-collision, cliff-sensing and anti-collision technologies that can to prevent the machine from falling down stairs or hitting furniture. It can also recognize and avoid carpets. This is a typical issue for many robot vacuums, mops and hybrids.

The robot has two large water tanks, one for clean water and one for dirty. It will automatically soak the pads with clean water before a mopping session. During the mopping procedure, sensors will inform you when it is time to change the pads and refill the water. It consumes 16 ounces of water, which is less water than other robots.

After you've cleaned the dirt off the mop pads, the T10 returns to its base station and auto-dry them to prevent cross-contamination. Then, it resumes its mopping work the same way it began. Performance

The Narwal Freo does an outstanding job cleaning hard floors. Its huge water tanks are easy to maintain and it comes with a variety of mopping intensities. It also has the ability to remove small messes or spills from carpet. The vacuuming capabilities aren't as impressive. The vacuum power of 1,800Pa is less than that of more expensive robovacuums like the Roborock MaxV Ultra.

The Freo's smart mapping and navigation technologies give it the ability to adapt to a space and plan an optimized cleaning routine. It utilizes simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) to build a map of its surroundings. It then works in a zig-zag style to ensure a uniform finish and prevent cross-contamination. This map can be shared with Narwal application, which allows you to alter cleaning settings and set no-go zones.

Once the Freo has been identified and mapped, it will continue cleaning where it left. Dual side brushes on the Freo let it be more effective at reaching corners than single brush vacuums. Its cliff-sensing, anticollision and anti-stuck functions also assist in avoiding getting stuck or crashing into furniture.

While it's a good vacuum/mop combination, the Narwal T10 is pricier than most of its rivals. The Narwal T10's massive base station has two 1.3 gallon tanks that have to be replenished frequently. This can be a hassle, especially if your robot has tanks that fill up faster. The app is cluttered and a bit irritable, and doesn't include the features of customization you'd expect of a robot that costs more.

App

The Narwal robot vacuum and mop is a standout among the many all-in-one robot vacuums and mops that are available. While most others tout great mopping and vacuuming capabilities, with a mopping feature added on, the T10 was developed to be a self-cleaning machine from the bottom up. Its mopping and sweeping capabilities are extremely efficient and are easily controlled through the narwal app but it also has buttons on its base station that allow manual optimization mid-cleaning session.

The Narwal robot vacuum is powered by Lidar and SLAM technologies, making it one of the most intelligent cleaning machines. It uses its sensors to map your home, and transforms this information into a precise floor plan of cleaning. This is an impressive feature that helps the T10 avoid getting lost and keeps track of its tasks while working within your home.
