1. Eufy RoboVac ElevenS

The Eufy RoboVac 11S is an affordable robot vacuum with some great pet hair-busting features. It does not map rooms as Roomba does however, it does come with a reactivity obstacles avoidance and drop-sensors to prevent it from running into objects (like cats or dogs) or falling down a flight of stairs. It can also pause and resume cleaning while it collects debris and moves it to the charging base. It also has an automatic self-emptying feature and the dustbin is small, so that you don't need to be able to see or feel what it is sucking up.

The 11S performed well when we tested it on untreated floors and carpets with medium cat hair. It didn't perform as well on carpets with high piles and had a harder time dealing with heavier debris, such as cereal and kitty litter. However, it performed better than the majority of its rivals. It also climbed over obstacles with low levels, like cords, effortlessly and did a fantastic job of keeping pet hair from sticking to the wheels and Vacuum Mop Pet Hair brushes.

One thing we did notice was that it didn't do as great a job with hair on dogs as the other models we tested, however the amount of pet hair was considerably less than what we saw in other tests. The 11S also has a few limitations such as not being capable of scheduling and only having a limited range of voice commands, however these aren't a major issue.

While the 11S is a good option, we do recommend taking a look at other robot vacuums that provide more advanced features. For instance the iRobot Roomba 960 is better-built and is easier to maintain. The new T10+ is an better model. It has a better navigation system, and it does not have the camera that was on the earlier models. Ecovacs instead chose to utilize lasers and a structured light source to aid in navigation. This is a smart decision since it allows the T10 to avoid obstacles and furniture more efficiently.

In addition, the T10+ has a self-emptying dust container and a dock that automatically cleans and dries mopping pads to prevent bacteria from accumulating. It has a powerful suction of 8,000Pa and is compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice control. It's also the priciest robovac in our lineup however it's a great option for homes with lots of carpeted areas.

If you're willing to sacrifice navigation and obstacle detection, but value excellent debris pick-up then the 960 is a good choice for you. It also comes at a lower price than the 980, meaning it will have fewer recurring expenses.

The Roomba 980 is the top-of-the-line robot vacuum mop pet hair and their top model for dealing with pet hair. It's more expensive than the other models however it comes with an array of features that make it the most efficient vacuum on the market. It has the tread to navigate uneven floors and the suction that picks up cat litter scattered across your home. It also has the connectivity so you can manage it remotely or schedule cleaning schedules.

It's also the most sophisticated robovac that we've ever tested. It makes use of iRobot's most sophisticated software to map your home and plan a cleaning course of action.
