The robot starts by tracing the area it'll clean, creating an image of the floor plan that you can view within the app. Once the mapping is complete the robot begins to clean the areas it marked out, and smacking furniture and corners with ease (although it may be stuck on certain items like the base of the fan that is standing).

As it sucks up dirt, it dumps it into its own dust bin that it automatically empty into the Samsung Clean Station when full. This feature will save your time by removing the need to empty the bin. The Clean Station also serves as an charging dock for the bot, which is an excellent feature.

This Samsung bot comes with a variety of options that allow you to modify the way it operates. It comes with an "Smart Power Mode" that alters suction according to the type or flooring. It also has the option to move in a zigzag pattern, or move around objects. It may also avoid certain items when it believes they may cause secondary contamination or pose a risk this is a great option for people suffering from allergies.

It was capable of handling long hair with minimal tangles and it did not lose suction. However, the brushes did tend to block, particularly close to the nozzles. So be sure to check them regularly. The app also alerted users when the brushroll was tangled.

It's a bit heavier than some of the other vacuums we tested, but it's still pretty portable and easy to move from room room.
