This robot is perfect for homes with hard flooring and can be used to clean carpets, tiles or tiles with mixed surfaces.

Like all Roomba models, the Combo j7+ is excellent in removing dirt and other debris. PrecisionVision and iRobot OS help the robot to navigate with greater efficiency. It can steer clear of common objects, like cords or pet mess. The iRobot Combo j7+ can even avoid furniture, such as high chairs with backs that could trap the robot beneath them.

When the iRobot Combo j7+ detects that it is on a surface that requires cleaning it raises its arm and swivels an apron that is mopped underneath it. This is an incredibly intuitive system, and it worked great during my testing. It was unable to remove water-based liquids, such like juice or wine. Thankfully the mopping pad could be easily washed and reused.

The camera in the front of the iRobot Combo is also very useful. It can identify hazards, Self Emptying vacuum such as power cables and pet waste, and steer clear of them to ensure a thorough clean. This feature is superior to the cameras on most other robot vacuums, which tend to get caught up in things like rug tassels. It's important to note that the iRobot Combo ju7+'s front camera is prone to blind spots, and can be unable to see certain objects.

The iRobot Combo ju7+ is expensive, however it performs well enough to justify its cost. It's a highly rated product from customers, who like its smart features. It's worth considering alternatives, like the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. It's less expensive than the iRobot Combo h7+, and it responds to voice commands without needing for third-party integration. It also mops and vacuum in one sweep. Plus, it has a huge water tank, and the mopping pads are self-cleaning.

They also have efficient obstacle avoidance, which doesn't push small and small objects, like socks or toys, around the floor. It's the best mopping robot we've examined. It also has a magnetic strip that you can use to block off areas that the robot isn't capable of reaching, such as rooms with many cables.

However, the robot falls short of other features of its type. The mops are excellent however, their maximum runtime of 60 minutes is lower than we'd like have in a product with such a price tag. Also, it doesn't automatically empty itself into the charging station, or follow up the mopping with the quick vacuum.

It's still a great option for those with big homes, as the cleaning and mapping processes are quick and efficient. The app is easy to use and you can set up dates for when it's going to work. If you don't have an effective internet connection, you can still control it using the remote or via voice integrations using Alexa.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision is expensive, but it offers many smart features that make up for the price. Live monitoring of homes is a great feature and it looks cool as well. It's an excellent option for anyone who has pets, young children, or just would like to keep an eye on their home even when they're away. The majority of people who own a robotic mop and vacuum are amazed at the difference their floors can make after using them often.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra

Roborock's latest robot mop and vacuum combo that Self Emptying Vacuum-empty model, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon) is a great upgrade over the previously excellent S6 and S7 models. It comes with a variety of useful features, such as more aggressive mopping as well as higher-powered suction (up to 5,100Pa compared to earlier models which had a lower power of 2,400Pa). The app can be used to schedule weekly cleanings, or to clean on the spot.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks but it's not without a few drawbacks. The most significant is the high price tag. It's the highest-priced robot vacuum and mop combination I've reviewed. The other issues aren't specific to this model but are more indicative of the robotic vacuum market as a whole It's not able to handle large spills or large, sticky messes very well.

The S7 Max Ultra can be easily set up: simply plug it in, connect it to your phone via Wi Fi and start the cleaning process. After this, you can modify the settings within the app, such as setting no-go zones, and scheduling cleanings.

Another major benefit is its impressive obstacle avoidance system. During testing, it only encountered two snags in tight spaces, which is significantly superior to the S6 MaxV's three attempts and the X1 Omni's four attempts. The app allows you to mark an object as a temporary obstruction and the S7 Max Ultra will ignore it during future cleanings.

Narwal Freo

The Narwal Freo is a unique robot that combines mops with vacuums. It's among the most affordable combo bots we reviewed. The Freo is a great option for anyone in need of a combination cleaner. Its outstanding cleaning capabilities, as well as its wide range of options for customization, makes it a fantastic choice. The lack of advanced obstacle-avoidance technology and a polished mobile application diminished our enthusiasm for the model.
