The ION XL robot vacuum is one of the most versatile available. It can clean carpets and hard floors. You can control the robot using an app or voice commands. You can also make a map to clean your home on demand. The robot can also maneuver around furniture and can traverse stairs and carpeted rooms easily.

I tested the ION XL using our standard debris test in a family room as well as a kitchen with hardwood floors and area rugs.
