The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, Mop vacuum robot you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of one button. You can choose a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and mop vacuum Robot corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's a lot of clutter that must be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to even remove wet spills but I would suggest cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could need. It comes with an omni-rotating Mop vacuum robot as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to manage it even when away from home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are great but they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot mop vacuum combo vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
