The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a shark ez robot vacuum that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum mop robot with all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, vacuum mop robot best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots at this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great, but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
