The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and automatic vacuum and mop robot suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up, you can start Automatic vacuum and mop robot cleaning with a single button press. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or automatic vacuum and Mop robot plush carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is superior - its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
