Easy to install

The first step is to remove the previous cover from your key. It must be removed before the new cover can be fitted.

After removing the cover, you can make use of a flathead tool to remove the four main attachment clips out of the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red on the image below. Note the yellow locating tabs that have to be disconnected.

After removing the battery replace it with a new CR2032 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery corresponds to the opening on the fob and that the -" negative side is facing toward the rubber buttons.

Replace the cover of the passenger's side mirror by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've completed this, insert the driver side fob back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly your car will turn on the parking lights and the doors will lock automatically.
