The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its Smart cleaning navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule smart cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on when it encounters one.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads rotating to clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features you don't often see on robots of this price. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury and could mean it's slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and smart Cleaning avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
