After a series of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally revealed its NFT (non fungible token) Project. Space Key was developed by a non-publicized artist and based on advanced carbon fiber composite materials, which were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a project that was announced by Lamborghini.

The latest project, Repaired dubbed the Space Key, is a piece created in collaboration with an unknown artist. The unique NFT is a tangible item that links to exclusive digital artwork that can be accessed via a QR code on the back. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned off in the coming weeks.

The Space Key is made of a carbon composite material that Lamborghini as part of a research project in 2019 sent to the International Space Station. Oefner utilized an inflatable camera with a lens to capture the individual images, which were then put together into the final image. The result is an out-of-this world photo that captures the beauty of the Earth as well as the futuristic, hyper-realistic picture of the car rising away from it. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, however the exact date and location of the event haven't been set yet.
