This powerful robot vacuum and mop is a real workhorse. It cleans floors, detects carpets and then automatically empty its own dustbin and water tanks. It also has powerful suction and is able to even dispensate detergent. All this is available at a cost of $1200. It's the most expensive robot vacuum and mop set I've reviewed so far.

From the beginning, the S7 Max Ultra is very easy to set up. After plugging it into the wall it will prompt you to map out your home with sensors. It will continue to use that information to avoid obstacles. In our tests, it avoided getting caught up in power cords and long curtains and even dog toys. It's not perfect but it sometimes ran into obstacles like tangled wires or some odd book or toy.

You can control the S7 Max Ultra via its smartphone application, and this is where you'll find all the advanced features that distinguish it from other robotic vacuums and mops. There are also specific room mopping and cleaning settings, a schedule planner and a power strength choice for mopping and vacuuming. You can also connect the S7 Max Ultra with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa to create a smart home. The S7 Max Ultra's comprehensive feature set lets it accomplish everything a standard robot vacuums self emptying could do and more, but for a fraction of the price.

The S7 Max Ultra's vacuuming is impressive and it did a good job of picking up dirt, pet hair and other debris from carpet and hard floors. Its automatic dust bin-emptying feature performed flawlessly during our tests, which was very reassuring. It also boasts 5100 Pa HyperForce suction rating, which is considerably better than the 2,500Pa power of the S6 MaxV and S7.

The S7 Max Ultra mopping performance was also good, but not the best. It utilized an exclusive microfiber mop pad that absorbs liquids and uses sonic vibration technology to scrub floors up to 3000 times per minute which was a bit faster than the X1 Omni's circular pads, which spin at 180 revolutions per minute. The S7 Max Ultra's ReactiveAI 2.0 obstacle recognition system was excellent. During our testing it didn't snag on any objects, and it steered clear of power cords, long curtains and other obstacles of the time.

2. Narwal Freo

It is a chore that is dreaded by many, but it is vital to keep your home tidy. It's a messy and often smelly job that can be difficult to finish, since it requires dustbins, dirty water and the necessity to ensure that hair or debris isn't clogging brushes or traps.
