The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a eufy robot vacuum vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of the button. You can select a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads clean your floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or industrial Robot Vacuum even watch television without being distracted. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a set path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra industrial Robot Vacuum mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the house. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The center of the control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and industrial Robot vacuum carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
