The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of a button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough maps of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes across a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin and washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and automatic the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots of this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
