The smart-pathing navigational system gives you superior maneuverability and its high-pile carpet cleaning mode cleans well, but it tends to get caught up on rug tassels. Additionally, its iHome speaker lets you control the small robot vacuum using voice commands.

During our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair effectively, clearing huge amounts of hair from bare floors and fair amounts on medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpet, which was a struggle to reach dirt and dust that was embedded in the fibers. It did a decent job of maneuvering around the legs of chairs and tight spaces, as well as the base of a wooden IKEA step stool.
