Sennheiser's MOMENTUM Headphones Over Ear are one of its most sought-after active noise cancellation (ANC) headphones. The MOMENTUM 4 Wireless headphones are an excellent option for ANC headphones. They have a solid track record and come at a reasonable cost.

The ear cups have an impressive amount of padding and are designed to sit comfortably on your ears. The top of the band that wraps around your neck, is covered with soft leatherette. The band is flexible enough to fit glasses. I found it to be comfortable for long periods of time.

Contrary to other ANC headphones unlike other ANC headphones, unlike some ANC headphones, MOMENTUM 4 Wireless' sound is balanced rather than focusing too much on highs or bass. This is a great thing as it provides a more balanced representation of music and speech. They do tend to boost lower frequencies however this is a common feature of headphones made for commuters, where noise can be a challenge to low-frequency music and speech.

The MOMENTUM Wireless Noise Reduction is outstanding similar to other top performers in the ANC category. It's not quite as good as the best ANC headphones we've tested however it's close.
