The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do to map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something requires attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're not home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
