The round stack method of stacking firewood is a well-known method that is easy to perform and looks beautiful. Begin by constructing a base of three to four rows of treated 2x4s or pallets. Then build the pillars at the end on top of this base by laying 3-4 pieces of wood on top of each other, then place another piece on the opposite side with more space at each end. Continue to build these pillars up to 12 rows, ensuring that there is plenty of space between each of them for air to move through the pile.

Then use a center stake to hold the stack upright and begin adding perpendicular pieces on the outside of the stack, tying them together in the middle using string. Repeat this process until you have reached the maximum height of your wall. Then, you can complete the interior with odd pieces and any that are too big for the outer rows. It is important to remember that indoor stacking requires a room that has plenty of sunlight and good airflow. Because overcrowding an area can result in moldy and damp wood burning stoves for sheds. The ideal indoor space for stacking is usually an underground garage or basement.
