Super Tight is an exhibition that explores strategies for living in tight spaces and explores the joy as well as the difficulty that result from the dense occupants of large cities. The idea was born out of an interest in dense urbanism, particularly in Asian cities. It also grew out of the dread about the density that has characterized cities that are wealthy in western countries (especially Australia).

This immersive exhibit brings together a variety of artists who are working to create cultural spaces from the incredibly tight restrictions of today's urban environment. The artists featured are Studio Wasabi (Rafael Balboa with Yasemin Sahiner, Architects, Tokyo); Atelier Bow-Wow (Timothy MacDonald & Jodie Gibson, Architects, Sydney); Taishin Shiozaki Laboratory (Tohru Horiguchi & Yoko Onishi, Architects, Osaka) and Tomito Architecture (Tomito Ito & Miho Tominaga, Architects, Yokahama). Super Tight is curated by Graham Crist and John Doyle and was created in collaboration with RMIT Design Hub Gallery and Open House Melbourne.

Super Skin
